Free & Reduced Price Meal Program

For Elementary & Middle School Students

 Your child is eligible for free meals, regardless of income, if they:

  • are members of SNAP households, or

  • receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).

Your child may be eligible for free or reduced price meals if they:

  • are a foster child who is the legal responsibility of the welfare agency or court (based on the child's income), or

  • are a member of a household participating in WIC (based on household income).

Below are links for the 2016-2017 Free & Reduced Price Meal Program Applications. Please review the letter and instructions before completing the application. Spanish applications are available by clicking HERE and letters are available at student's school.

Only one application is needed per household.
Submit your application to your child's school or mail to the Food Services Department at 200 Berkley St., Ashland, VA 23005.  Please allow 10 business days for processing.
