ABC Summary



ABC is a summary or brainstorming tool. Students try to think of a word for each letter of the alphabet that connects with the main topic of discussion.

How to use

this strategy:

Begin by modeling for students. Give the students a topic and start filling in several words as an example. As a class, brainstorm and continue to fill in the ABC Summary. This tool can be used at the beginning, middle, and end of a lesson. It can be ongoing and does not have to be completed at one time.
